Exercise is something a lot of people don't want to plan into their day. It takes time and effort, and it's just hard to get yourself motivated to move. In one of our recent articles, we talked about how the things you do everyday counts as exercise. The important thing is just to get your body moving. Things like cleaning the house, walking to work, and taking out the trash is exercise, but we often don't know it. A study has shown that if you don't think of these daily activities as exercise, then your body will not show it. But if you think of them as exercise, then some people may begin to lose weight. It's an interesting study, and I encourage you to read our original article about it.
Activity trackers, like the Fitbit or the Apple Watch, track your daily movement activity. These can motivate you to move throughout the day and live a healthier lifestyle. For example, the Apple Watch has rings. You get a message when you complete your activity rings and the watch encourages you to be active throughout the day. Maybe next time you'll use the stairs instead of the elevator!
